Legal Secretary Paralegal
THE ROLE
As a Legal Secretary/Paralegal, you will provide support to the legal department through contract management. This would include preparing templates, formatting, proofreading, and drafting legal documents.
SCHEDULE: 8 AM – 5 PM Pacific DaylightTime (11 PM - 8 AM Philippine Local Time), follows Philippine holidays
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Handle contract management for our general counsel clients
· Support maintenance of library of standardized form documents, contract clauses, and templates
· Perform and manage corporate filing requirements
· Assist attorney team with formatting, proof-reading, and drafting documents as applicable
· Collaborate with team members to create processes and systems to streamline activities
· Perform other duties and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
· A Bachelor’s degree in the related field
· Paralegal, legal secretary, contract management or similar experience can be considered
· Experience in a law firm or in-house legal environment a plus
· Experience in managing contracts; understanding and following multi-step processes, and experience in managing contract repositories a plus
· Experience with licensing/corporate compliance and filing corporate documents with government agencies is a plus
· Experience working with law firms is a plus
· Experience with Microsoft 365 and Office suite, Adobe, and document management applications
· Experience in a multi-client environment
· Have a positive attitude, dependable and highly professional
· Excellent written skills
· Proofreading, attention to detail and solid grammar/spelling skills is a must
· Adaptable and proactive in solving problems for self and others
· Highly organized and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects
· Enthusiastic and open to learning new subject matters
· Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
