Administrative Assistant

THE ROLE

Our CPA firm specializing in high-net-worth individual tax clients is looking for an Administrative Assistant who will help process tax returns, provide administrative support, and ensure good client relationships.

SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (11:00 PM – 8:00 AM or 12:00 AM - 9:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Provide recruitment administrative assistance

·       Perform email and calendar management

·       Manage client relationship

·       Send out monthly newsletters via Constant Contact

·       Update client information when clients change addresses, etc.

·       Send client holiday gifts, etc.

·       Send quarterly estimated tax payment reminders

·       Manage travel and expenses

·       Handle tax return delivery

·       Help process tax returns through our electronic tax return delivery software, SafeSend Returns

·       Recruit and help filter through resumes using criteria provided by the firm

·       Schedule interviews

QUALIFICATIONS

·       A Bachelor’s degree in the related field is preferred

·       Experience working in the tax/accounting industry is a plus

·       Knowledge basic tax/accounting knowledge to properly upload documents to our cloud-based file storage and respond to basic client requests

·       Experience in a multi-client environment

·       Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications

·       Strong organization, and good oral and written communication skills as client contact may be required

·       Analytical skills with particular attention to detail

·       Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
