Content Strategist

ROLE SUMMARY

The Content Strategist is responsible for creating content for clients and ensuring that results are in line with their business needs. The ideal candidate is someone who has experience with content marketing, is a good communicator especially in interacting with clients, and possesses as strong drive to make impactful results. He/she must have a knack for creating valuable solutions, while being organized.

SCHEDULE: 9 AM - 6 PM Eastern Daylight Time (9 PM - 6 AM Philippine Local Time), follows Philippine Holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Create results through content strategy

·       Develop content to help clients achieve marketing and sales goals

·       Establish a baseline and determine the best direction for the pieces in their purchase

·       Recommend changes to a subscription where it makes sense

·       Establish and track goals and communicate results effectively

·       Create an amazing customer experience through a team-based approach

·       Onboard new accounts

·       Answer customer questions regarding their content subscriptions, projects, and requests

·       Recommend add-on projects to achieve better results

·       Address issues if they come up and ensure the needs of the customers are taken care of

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Bachelor’s degree preferred with a concentration in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or a relevant field

·       Minimum of 3 years of experience in content development, social media, and email marketing

·       Preferred Certifications: Google Analytics, HubSpot Inbound Marketing

·       A working understanding of common CRMs and CMS systems. HubSpot, WordPress, social media platforms, social media management tools, email marketing platforms, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, AHREFs, and many of the tools in a marketer’s toolbox

·       Basic technical knowledge of HTML/web publishing

·       Impeccable verbal and writing skills with attention to detail, grammar, and style

·       Experience in a multi-client environment

·       Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation

·       Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
