THE ROLE

Our client is looking for a Digital PR who is comfortable interacting with reporters and journalists. The ideal candidate must feel confident researching and finding answers to questions that reporters have, and then structuring that research into bite-sized, easily digestible pieces of information written in a conversational tone. This role will manage up to 7 client accounts, so he/she should be comfortable learning about each client and being immersed in their services or products and their mission.

SCHEDULE: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM Pacific Standard Time (1:30 AM – 10:30 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Write on a wide variety of topics including, but not limited to:

o   Healthcare / Mental Health / Wellness / Addiction Treatment

o   Finance

o   Real Estate

o   Marketing

o   SaaS

o   Recruiting

o   E-commerce

·       Source your answers through research and provide insightful commentary in an authoritative tone without plagiarizing existing published content, based on a set of questions from a reporter

·       Write on behalf of clients assigned

·       Understand the clients’ websites, products, or services they offer, and the background of the person to write for (ranging from CEOs or founders of the company, or medical professionals like psychologists or licensed clinical social workers)

·       Go through each HARO media list and answer relevant queries from each client

·       Perform ad-hoc projects

QUALIFICATIONS

·       A Bachelor’s degree in the related field is an advantage

·       Strong research skills and ability to find answers to unfamiliar topics

·       Expert English speaking and writing skills, with a strong understanding of language nuances so that writing sounds natural from a reader's viewpoint

·       Experience with Jasper (formerly Jarvis), which is the company’s AI copywriting tool

·       Experience with Grammarly

·       Experience with project management tools, such as ClickUp

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

·       Experience in a multi-client environment

·       Analytical skills with particular attention to detail

·       Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation

·       Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
