Business Development Representative
ROLE SUMMARY
Our client is looking for a Business Development Representative to join their sales team. This role will be responsible for developing strategies for financial growth and improving customer satisfaction, conducting market research, promoting the company’s products, and engaging with prospects.
SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays
POSITION TYPE: Full Time

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
· Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
· Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
· Promote the company’s products/services, as well as address and predict clients’ objectives
· Identify trends and customer needs and build a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
· Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
· Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
· Support senior sales teams and sales representatives on outbound strategies and lead-generating efforts
· Serve as the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
· Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales opportunities
· Collaborate with colleagues on new innovative lead-generation ideas
· Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field preferred
· Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role
· Proven sales track record preferred
· Experience in Managed Service Provider or IT MSP community
· Experience using LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and HubSpot is a plus
· Demonstrated ability to work independently virtually as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls, writing emails, and LinkedIn connections every day
· Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and ability to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely
· Expert understanding of service and product, and ability to innovate new ways the product can serve customers
· Innate drive to succeed and take initiative
· Ability to learn new software quickly
· Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects
· Excellent organizational skills to meet goals and set priorities
