Project Controller (Analyst)

ROLE SUMMARY

The Project Controller/Analyst will assist in performing the financial and operational support activities for all projects and all locations of the client’s company. The primary responsibilities will include project analysis, financial planning, forecasting, accurate reporting, and continuous improvement as it relates to job duties and all aspects of the business.

SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Central Standard Time (11:00 PM – 8:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Analyze active projects to determine overall financial health, communicate those findings to branch operations personnel, and, if needed, assist in the creation of action plans to course-correct any poor-performing jobs

·       Compile and communicate the results of monthly review findings to upper management for decision-making

·       Work with the project team and contract hubs to understand costs and project management

·       Maintain highly organized and accurate reporting

·       Develop automated reports and tools to aid management/business leaders

·       Assist with monthly closing processes and provide high-quality, timely, and accurate information

·       Assist with the preparation of budgets/forecasts

·       Process journal entries if needed

·       Ability to effectively communicate with internal staff and external auditors

·       Record costs and revenue in the correct periods

·       Communicate efficiently overruns and savings monthly to the leadership team

·       Mitigate project overruns throughout the company

·       Strive for continuous improvement of all current processes and become a business partner to our internal customers

·       Perform all duties assigned by management and deemed pertinent to the continued success of the company, employee objectives, and/or goals

QUALIFICATIONS

·       A Bachelor’s degree in the related field is preferred

·       Experience in Project Management and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel should be intermediate level

·       Microsoft Great Plains experience is a plus

·       Must be a self-starter with demonstrated problem-solving skills

·       Effective and professional verbal and written communication with co-workers, vendors, customers, and external auditors

·       Able to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision

·       Possesses attention to detail/accuracy and is personally committed to work quality

·       Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
