SEO Manager

ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is looking for a highly skilled SEO Manager with a strong background in both content and technical SEO, including link-building strategies, to oversee their content planning and development projects in the online sports betting and casino space. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in AI applications for SEO content development and have a comprehensive understanding of technical SEO aspects.

SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (12:00 AM – 9:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Research and develop guidelines for new SEO-optimized content, including technical SEO considerations

·       Publish and manage content on the website (WordPress/custom)

·       Ensure all content meets the quality and technical SEO standards

·       Hire and manage a team of content creators for new and updated SEO content

·       Oversee content production according to the content calendar

·       Implement and follow the company’s SEO best practices, including technical SEO and link-building

·       Track content performance and deliver ROI reports

·       Prioritize high-ROI content strategies

·       Automate SEO-optimized content generation using AI tools

·       Stay updated on AI, SEO, and technical SEO developments

·       Regularly evaluate AI content generation tools, SEO, and technical SEO best practices

·       Develop documentation on AI content generation, SEO, and ethical AI standards

QUALIFICATIONS

·       A Bachelor’s degree in the related field is an advantage

·       5+ years of experience in SEO management, including content and technical SEO

·       Experience with AI tools for SEO content generation

·       Previous experience in the online gambling space (online sports betting or iGaming) is a plus

·       Experience with content publishing:

o   Able to work within tight deadlines with rapid turnaround times

o   Experience in top-level management of a high-volume daily publishing system

o   Efficient in managing time and digital publishing tasks

o   Able to supervise the efforts of the contract writing team (both AI and human)

·       Working knowledge of current SEO best practices and EEAT (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness)

·       Proficiency in SEO software tools such as Ahrefs, SEMRush, Surferseo, etc.

·       In-depth understanding of SEO content research and development best practices, including:

o   Competitor analysis

o   Keyword analysis

o   User type identification

o   Developing topical content silos

o   Content guideline development

o   Managing SEO content development

·       Technical SEO and link-building experience:

o   Expertise in technical SEO aspects, including site architecture, crawlability, indexing, and site speed optimization

o   Proven experience in developing and executing effective link-building strategies

o   Ability to conduct thorough backlink analysis and identify link-building opportunities

o   Familiarity with tools for technical SEO analysis and link auditing

·       Experience with AI integration into publishing:

o   Experience with scaling content development via AI

o   AI content development and AI prompt engineering

·       Agency experience is an advantage

·       Fluent or native in English (reading, writing, speaking)

·       Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

·       Strong organizational skills

·       Results-driven and has an analytical mindset

·       Dedication and a strong work ethic
