THE ROLE
Our client is looking for a Document Clerk who will support the Pre-Litigation Department in collaboration with the healthcare claims analyst. This role is instrumental in the process of obtaining documents and categorizing data for claims.
SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (11:00 PM – 5:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Assist with the maintenance and manipulation of document databases for purposes of facilitating productions, preparing for depositions, hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations
· Assist with document collection, production, organization, and management
· Assist with the utilization of E-Discovery applications for purposes of document management and production including redacting and Bates stamping
· Assist with routine preparations for and at trials, arbitrations, and mediations including updating indices, chronologies, logs, and tracking systems
· Assist with administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, printing, and organization of documents and information
· Maintain quality and productivity standards as set by management
· Influence others using a positive approach
· Ensure compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act
· Handle other special projects as assigned by the data law and client system access project manager
QUALIFICATIONS
· A bachelor’s degree in the related field
· 1-3 years of clerical or administrative work experience
· Experience in healthcare is preferred
· Experience working in a law firm is preferred
· Experience with Microsoft Office products
· Experience in a multi-client environment
· Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
· Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
· Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
