ROLE SUMMARY
Our client is looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to provide financial, administrative, and clerical services. Accounts receivable duties include ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts to the correct customer and by the correct period dates.
SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (12:00 AM – 9:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
· Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables’ data
· Post bank deposits
· Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
· Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues
· Record NSF fees and minor over/underpayment adjustments to accounts
· Record and reconcile customer deposits
QUALIFICATIONS
· A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
· Proven working experience in accounts receivable or as an accountant
· Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
· Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
· Hands-on experience in operating Excel spreadsheets (use of pivot tables, lookups, etc.) and accounting software (Microsoft Dynamics: Business Central)
· Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Good data entry skills
· Must be customer service-oriented
· Experience in a multi-client environment
· Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
