Financial Analyst

ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is looking for a highly organized and strategic-minded individual to serve as a Financial Analyst for the Managing Director of several small businesses. The Financial Analyst will work closely with the Managing Director to streamline operations, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure effective communication across all business units. This is a dynamic role that requires a combination of business acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Handle the following financial planning and analysis duties:

o   Assist the Managing Director in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting

o   Build financial models

o   Monitor key financial metrics and provide insights to support decision-making

·       Handle the following accounting and bookkeeping duties:

o   Lead financial close and creation of monthly financial packages

o   Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting resources

o   Contribute direct accounting services

·       Handle the following operational efficiency duties:

o   Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency across all business functions

o   Create process maps, workflows, and diagrams

o   Identify gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies and propose optimizations

·       Handle the following project management duties:

o   Oversee key projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget

o   Assign tasks, set deadlines, and track progress to ensure accountability

o   Work on some direct PM services to customers

·       Handle the following communication duties:

o   Act as a liaison between the Managing Director and external stakeholders, including investors, partners, and clients

o   Represent the Managing Director in meetings and negotiations as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, or related field; Master’s in Business Administration is preferred

·       3+ years of proven experience in a similar role

·       Experience with mergers and acquisitions preferred

·       Strong PowerBI (reports development), Excel, financial modeling, M365, and project management skills are required

·       Lean Six Sigma process optimization skills preferred

·       Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization

·       Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams

·       Analytical mindset with the ability to think strategically and solve complex problems
