ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper who will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling transactions, balancing ledgers, reconciling accounts, preparing reports related to the client’s condo associations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

SCHEDULE: TBD – Pacific Daylight Time, follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Maintain financials using QuickBooks Online

·       Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including collections

·       Record debits, credits, and totals accounts in databases, spreadsheets, and property management software

·       Code documents according to company procedures

·       Classify, record, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and keep accurate financial records

·       Reconcile and report discrepancies found in records

·       Handle general ledger and month-end close

·       Prepare commission reports and accruals

·       Reconcile prepaid expenses and fixed assets

·       Record depreciation expense

·       Reconcile general ledger to external sales tracking datafile

·       Coordinate marketing reimbursement claims and track payments for general ledger purposes

·       Handle accounts receivable and collections

·       Generate and enter customer invoices and vendor bills into QuickBooks

·       Respond to account receivable-related communications, including billing questions and collection of past-due amounts

·       Handle accounts payable

·       Assist with administrative tasks and other office duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

·       A bachelor’s degree in the related field is an advantage

·       3-5 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in property management or real estate

·       Proficient in QuickBooks Online

·       Strong proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

·       Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing

·       Well organized with a strong eye for detail

·       Ability to collaborate with the team

·       Ability to adapt to change and fast-growing environment

·       Experience in a multi-client environment

·       Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation

·       Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
