Accounting Specialist

ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is looking for an Accounting Specialist who will be responsible for analyzing financial information and maintaining complete records. The role will handle accounts payable and receivable reconciliation and journal entry management.

SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (12:00 AM – 9:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Perform the following tasks for the company:

o   Enter of accounts payable transactions

o   Reconcile accounts payable to vendor statements

o   Perform bank and credit card reconciliations

o   Perform data entry for cash flow modeling using existing models

·       Perform the following tasks for the company's client:

o   Maintain the company's financial books

o   Handle invoicing and accounts receivable

o   Handle accounts receivable reconciliation and payment applications

o   Enter and manage accounts payable transactions

o   Reconcile accounts payable payments

o   Perform bank reconciliations

o   Make basic journal entries (including loan and payroll)

o   Conduct month-end close entries

o   Handle weekly reporting to owners on accounts receivable and accounts payable statuses

o   Liaise with the company's CPAs for information sharing and reporting

QUALIFICATIONS

·       A bachelor’s degree in the related field

·       With accounting-related experience

·       Experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliation and journal entry

·       Manufacturing account experience is a plus

·       Experience in the ERP System (ECI M1)

·       Experience in a multi-client environment

·       Strong organization, oral and written communication skills

·       Analytical skills with particular attention to detail

·       Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation

·       Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
