ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is looking for an Bookkeeper who will process financial information through research and analysis of accounting data.

The position will prepare, review, and explain financial reports, like trial balance, balance sheet, and profit-and loss. This role will thoroughly document financial transactions for multiple business entities promptly.

SCHEDULE: 2:00 AM – 11:00 AM Eastern Daylight Time (2:00 PM – 11:00 PM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Handle the following reporting duties:

o   Prepare, review, analyze, and explain financial reports, such as trial balance, balance sheet, and profit and loss

o   Prepare and reference source documents/working papers as per standard procedures

o   Perform other accounting tasks, related duties, and special projects as requested

o   Compare reports versus actuals received

·       Handle the following bookkeeping duties:

o Conduct daily transactional data entry and coding, including all source and supporting documentation per archival procedures

o Book intercompany reimbursements

o Perform monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card accounts, and all other balance sheet accounts

o Set up data files for new businesses as needed

o Process cash verification

o Keep bank accounts updated

·       Manage all entities' bank accounts for oversight in preparation for payroll and payroll taxes and oversee all reporting required by the Federal and State

QUALIFICATIONS

·       A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

·       Minimum of 4 years of related experience with references

·       Experience with multi-entity accounting or multi-unit franchise experience is preferred

·       Proficient in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software

·       Ability to use accounting software to prepare financial and payroll reports

·       Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Excellent management and leadership skills

·       Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills

·       Must be proactive and can multitask and prioritize tasks
