ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is looking for a self-motivated Architect who is eager to expand their knowledge of architecture and our firm's processes. The ideal candidate will be curious, asking questions to further their understanding of every aspect of project delivery, from design to code analysis. Proficiency in Revit is essential, and the ability to independently pursue a specific area of architectural development is highly valued. Although this is a remote position, the candidate must integrate well with our team by participating in project reviews, company process evaluations, and daily interactions.

This is a fast-paced role where typical project timelines are 1-2 months, requiring employees to take primary responsibility for their projects. The Architect will collaborate on the design and development of building projects, creating design concepts, preparing architectural drawings, and ensuring adherence to client requirements, building codes, and regulations. This position demands a blend of creativity, technical knowledge, and attention to detail.

SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Perform the following design responsibilities:

o   Model existing spaces from point clouds in Revit

o   Create conceptual floor plans, elevations, and renderings

o   Participate in brainstorming sessions and design reviews

o   Support senior architects in developing architectural designs and concepts

o   Produce 2D and 3D drawings, renderings, and models using software such as Revit, Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite

·       Perform the following project documentation responsibilities:

o   Research materials, building codes, zoning laws, and sustainable design practices

o   Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in architecture and design.

o   Prepare and modify architectural documents, specifications, and permit/construction drawings

o   Assist in creating detailed drawings and plans, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details

·       Perform the following responsibilities involving client and team collaboration:

o   Attend and contribute to client meetings, presenting design ideas and updates

o   Coordinate with team members, consultants, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met

QUALIFICATIONS

·       A bachelor’s degree in Architecture

·       Proficiency in preparing construction documents for architectural projects

·       Desire to grow in architectural knowledge

·       Proficiency in Revit is essential

·       Experience with modeling in Revit using a point cloud is a plus

·       Experience with Lumion and rendering is a plus

·       Strong computer skills, including expertise in Google Suite

·       Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills

·       Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

·       Ability to function independently in an autonomous environment; self-directed and proactive
