ROLE SUMMARY

Our client is looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to spearhead the copywriting, growth, customer engagement, and monetization of the weekly newsletter and lead the foray into community building. You will be the driving force behind crafting compelling content, leveraging new technologies like AI, and implementing innovative strategies to elevate the brand's presence across multiple channels, with a special focus on newsletter and LinkedIn. Having a curious and analytical approach to marketing to search for refreshing and engaging content that will consistently delight the readers will make you successful in the client’s start-up environment.

SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time (9:00 PM – 6:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·       Perform the following tasks to support newsletter growth and engagement:

o   Develop and execute strategies to expand the subscriber base and increase open rates

o   Design and implement a referral program to incentivize sharing and further audience growth

o   Source, create copy, and curate a mix of original, industry-related, and product-focused content that resonates with the audience segments across multiple channels like LinkedIn, WordPress, TikTok, Instagram, and beyond

o   Incorporate interactive elements like surveys, polls, trivia, and gamification to drive reader participation and shares

o   Produce short, engaging video content, including product demos and industry news updates, utilizing AI tools to enhance production efficiency

o   Track and analyze key metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) to optimize newsletter performance and inform future content strategies

·       Perform the following tasks involving product newsletters:

o   Establish a new, dedicated newsletter focused on product demos and technology news

o   Create engaging video content and written summaries highlighting innovations and product updates relevant to our industry

o   Work with sales and marketing to craft compelling business-to-business customer product marketing newsletters to excite clients about new product developments as the company always ships new features for the clients

·       Perform the following tasks involving newsletter monetization:

o   Explore ways to monetize the newsletter(s) through sponsored content, premium subscriptions, or other revenue-generating models

o   Develop strategies to leverage the newsletter as a lead generation channel, driving traffic to the marketplace and increasing conversions

·       Perform the following tasks to support LinkedIn growth and engagement:

o   Develop a comprehensive content strategy for LinkedIn, tailored to our target audience and focused on increasing followers, engagement, and brand awareness

o   Establish the brand as a thought leader in the industry by sharing insightful content and participating in relevant conversations

·       Perform the following tasks to support community building:

o   Prepare for the Quarter 3 launch of the online community, defining goals, structure, and moderation guidelines

o   Develop content and engagement strategies to foster a thriving community, including discussions, events, and resources

·       Perform the following tasks to support cross-functional collaboration:

o   Gather and share customer feedback from the newsletter and community with product, marketing, and sales teams to inform decision-making

o   Collaborate with other departments to ensure content consistency across all channels

QUALIFICATIONS:

·       A bachelor’s degree in the related field

·       Proven experience in content marketing, particularly in email newsletters and social media

·       Experience with video production and editing, including knowledge of AI tools for content creation

·       Experience generating content for business across TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Reddit

·       Experience with community management or a strong interest in building online communities

·       Data-driven mindset, with experience using analytics to track performance and optimize strategies

·       Must have some recruiting background

·       Familiarity with the industry and target audience is a plus

·       Experience in a multi-client environment

·       Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

·       Flexibility with rapidly changing priorities and initiatives as part of a start-up, testing, and learning environment
