Account Manager

ROLE SUMMARY

As the Account Manager, you are to sell and manage tennis, golf, and technical apparel lines. You are responsible for nurturing wholesale sales accounts to ensure agreed company targets are met, as well as generate leads. You’ll create an efficient sales process, engage with tennis, golf, activewear, and contemporary women’s apparel buyers, and proactively anticipate and respond to wholesale customer needs

SCHEDULE: 8 AM – 5 PM Eastern Standard Time, follows Philippine Holidays

POSITION TYPE: Full Time

WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·       Manage and oversee daily functions/ responsibilities of current global accounts in the USA, Canada, Europe, and Asia

·       Manage, develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers in key accounts and higher specialty boutiques

·       Anticipate and respond to wholesale customer inquiries and questions

·       Check in with wholesale accounts regarding brand performance and merchandise assortment

·       Negotiate favorable payment and shipping terms such as pre-paid and ex-works

·       Do a weekly analysis of sales data such as sell-through, product mix, door analysis, and competitor analysis to maximize selling and growth opportunities

·       Generate leads through prospecting activities to maintain the required pipeline of prospect accounts

·       Qualify, research, track and develop leads into viable business opportunities

·       Build rapport and connection with leads

·       Articulate the value proposition to multiple organizational levels

·       Develop strong selling tools and presentations for sales opportunities

·       Maintain regular communication with design and production to initiate recuts when core inventory starts to get low or if core products need to get updated

·       Identify and communicate opportunities to increase profitability

·       Work closely with the logistics manager for the preparation of customs documentation as required on cross-border shipments

·       Do fulfillment and invoicing of wholesale orders through our 3PL partner

·       Set up all new styles in ERP at the beginning of each season including style images, and barcodes, and assign SKUs

·       Follow up with our Jr Accountant to make sure partners are adhering to payment terms

·       Follow up with buyers if needed to help receive late payments

·       Work with the marketing team to initiate and manage the creation of sales materials and marketing partnerships

QUALIFICATIONS

·       A Bachelor’s degree in the related field

·       2-3 years of experience working in sales or account management – golf, tennis, activewear, contemporary or RTW experience preferred but not mandatory

·       Proactive, product-forward focus, and energetically driving process improvement

·       Experience with sales systems and mindset to automate wherever possible

·       Experience in a multi-client environment

·       Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications

·       Strong organization, oral and written communication skills

·       Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with particular attention to detail

·       Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation

·       Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
